From August 7th to 9th, 2023, some members of our research team went to Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou to attend “the 2023 Academic Conference of the Chinese Vacuum Society”. The conference was organized by the Chinese Vacuum Society and co-hosted by Sun Yat-sen University and the Guangdong Vacuum Society. More than 350 vacuum science and technology professionals and students, including academicians from both Chinese academies, participated in the conference and engaged in exchanges.

Two postdoctoral researchers, Gao Yixuan and Tao Lei, delivered oral presentations with the following topics: "Intrinsically Honeycomb-Patterned Hydrogenated Graphene" and "Selective C-H bond activation on surface and enabled formation of N-doped graphene nanoribbons".
Three Ph.D students, Yi Juxia, Zhang Xi, and Yin Yiyang, submitted academic posters. Among them, Yi Juxia was honored with the "Outstanding Poster Presentation" award.
